Our Survivorship Team
The Survivorship Program at the Johns Hopkins Breast Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized follow-up care to patients who have undergone breast cancer treatment.
Meet the Survivorship Program team:
Dr. Wolff is an Associate Professor of Oncology and member of the Breast Cancer Research Program at The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research interests include new therapies, predictive biomarkers, cancer survivorship, and quality of care. Dr. Wolff’s clinical practice at Johns Hopkins is dedicated exclusively to the care of patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
Elissa T. Bantug, B.S., M.H.S.
Ms. Bantug is a breast cancer survivor with an extensive history of breast cancer advocacy and outreach work with multiple cancer organizations. She administers day-to-day program activities and serves as a liaison between grant projects and with funding agencies. Ms. Bantug assists with the implementation and dissemination of breast cancer survivorship activities at Hopkins.
Dr. Peairs is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She maintains a clinical practice with a focus on women’s health issues. Dr. Peairs leads the efforts to identify existing gaps of knowledge and educational resources for non-cancer physicians related to breast cancer survivorship and create a curriculum for use at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere.
Dr. Snyder is Assistant Professor of Medicine with joint appointments in Oncology and Health Policy & Management. Her research focuses on the quality of cancer care in two areas: (1) quality of life for cancer patients undergoing treatment and (2) coordination of care for cancer survivors. She has conducted, presented, and published studies that examine the quality of survivorship care among colorectal and breast cancer survivors.
