I believe the leaders and employees at Johns Hopkins Medicine make every effort to support the patients, families, and communities we serve. It’s meaningful and motivating to be part of such a dedicated team.
Please tell us about how you reached your leadership position.
I have been in academic medicine for most of my career leading data-driven marketing, brand development, digital strategy and business development. In 2019, I was offered an opportunity to lead the Marketing and Communications team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. My prior jobs, experiences, and mentors all contributed to preparing me for my current role.
Which of your accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am most proud of contributing to the vitality of the organizations I have been privileged to be part of. Enhancing the brand, building the culture, mentoring teams, and most importantly, helping patients and families access the care they seek.
What advice would you give a woman who is aspiring to grow in her leadership responsibilities?
To paraphrase Teddy Roosevelt, "Dare mighty things." I believe passion, purpose, and perseverance can fuel the most amazing achievements.
