Linda Kline

Linda Kline is the vice president of health information technology for Johns Hopkins Medicine. In this role, she brings together the clinical and patient administrative IT teams to better coordinate and deliver software solutions and services for Johns Hopkins patients, clinicians and staff. Prior to assuming this position, she served as  the executive director of the Epic project team, leading the implementation of a single patient electronic medical record across the regional enterprise. 

Kline joined Johns Hopkins in 1999 as a senior director for the Johns Hopkins Health System’s Department of Finance. During her time in this role, she consolidated The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Howard County General Hospital business office operations. She also made substantial improvements in the financial receivable metrics for the three hospitals.

Kline has over 30 years of administrative, management and consulting experience working for two large health systems in Michigan and an academic medical center in Philadelphia, as well as a software company. She has held administrative leadership positions in hospital and physician practice operations and roles in consulting and systems implementation.

Kline earned her bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College in New York and completed graduate work at the University of Notre Dame.
