As vice president and chief technology officer for The Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Health System, Dwight Raum oversees IT functions including data centers, networking, telecommunications, servers, storage, collaboration, cybersecurity and user support. He has served in this position since 2001.
Before he was appointed to his current role, Mr. Raum was the chief technology officer for the health system, focusing on solutions for identity management, security and the Johns Hopkins enterprise portal.
Mr. Raum co-founded and serves as executive director for the Technology Innovation Center, a professional design and software engineering team that builds and deploys innovative clinical information systems across Johns Hopkins Medicine. He also serves as the technical lead for the Johns Hopkins Precision Medicine program.
Mr. Raum earned his bachelor of science degree from Virginia Tech.
