F.A.R.M. / P.O.R.S
The F.A.R.M. and P.O.R.S. Committee are pleased to announce the 2005-2006 seminar series for Friday Afternoon Research Meeting (F.A.R.M.) and Patient-Oriented Research Conference (P.O.R.S.) that will begin on Friday, December 9, 2005(F.A.R.M.). These seminars will be held in the Maumenee 501 Conference Room. For those of you who are not familiar with F.A.R.M. and P.O.R.S. this is an informal seminar series at the Wilmer Eye Institute on Friday afternoons. Topics include everything from basic research to clinical research with a diverse audience of Wilmer faculty, post-docs, grad students, residents, staff, etc. P.O.R.S. has topics that have been chosen to represent a variety of important methodologic and practical issues in the conduct of patient-oriented clinical research. Refreshments are served at 4:45 p.m. and the talk is scheduled from 5:00-5:45 p.m.
