There are many opportunities for you to help others with macular degenerations. Listed below are a few suggestions.

  1. Help with set-up at the monthly support group meetings held at Greenspring Station in Baltimore County.
  2. Help with the patient conference to be held in October of 1999.
  3. Submission of positive success stories and personal accounts in dealing with macular degenerations.
  4. Good tips on coping with macular degenerations such as: how to play golf, play cards, or read.
  5. Resources you have found especially helpful: Web sites, computer training sites, low vision devices, non-profit organizations, etc.
