I am Andrew Stewart and I am the operations manager of Wilmer Optical.
Nearly ten years ago I came to Johns Hopkins to oversee the expansion of Wilmer Optical, which had been newly purchased by the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine to support the Wilmer Eye Institute.
Wilmer was a name associated with excellence; therefore I knew Wilmer Optical could build its business on quality and service. By the second year we had opened two new locations at Bayview and Green Spring. We added White Marsh and a second location in Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000. Our sixth and final location was Columbia, which opened in 2003.
