Wilmer Resident Receives Lindstrom Research Grant

Wilmer Eye Institute is pleased to announce that Guadalupe Villarreal, Jr., M.D., a second-year resident, has received a Richard Lindstrom Research Grant from the Eye Bank Association of America. The $8,605 award will fund his current project, "AMPK Activation for Treatment of Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy."

The EBAA's Richard Lindstrom Research Fund supports research projects on issues directly related to eye banking and/or corneal transplantation.
