The Microm HM 500 M Cryostat comes with the following features:

  • Motorized cutting drive for sectioning and facing blocks. 
  • Adjustable cutting window
  • 3 operating modes for single, interval and continuous stroke
  • Microtome with micro/macro feed settings can section between 0.5 and 300 microns.
  • Cabinet temperature that can be set down to –40 degrees C.
  • Section counter
  • Uses 120mm C profile steel knives with optional anti-roll plate
