Anya Trumler, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Krieger Children’s Eye Center at the Wilmer Institute. She has subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric glaucoma, pediatric cataract and adult strabismus.
Dr. Trumler obtained her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She subsequently completed her internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She then went on to obtain fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of California, San Diego. A second fellowship in Pediatric Glaucoma and Anterior Segment was completed at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. In addition to her commitment to excellent patient care, Dr. Trumler is a published author of book chapters and journal articles involving pediatric cataracts, glaucoma and strabismus. Her research interest is in pediatric glaucoma.
Dr. Trumler sees pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric glaucoma, pediatric cataract and adult strabismus patients at the Wilmer Eye Institute's Johns Hopkins Hospital and Columbia locations.
