Jack Prince, O.D. is a Clinical Associate at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
He specializes in routine comprehensive eye care for children, adults, and seniors. In addition to prescribing spectacle and contact lens prescriptions, Dr. Prince is skilled at diagnosing eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. Patients with visual complaints or gradually decreased vision of an unknown cause are seen. Dr. Prince also comanages glaucoma and cataract patients with specialists.
Dr. Prince obtained his optometric education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and graduated with honors. He completed the State University of New York State College of Optometry’s curriculum in Ocular Diagnosis and Therapy. In addition to over twenty years experience providing primary eye care and fitting most types of contact lenses, Dr. Prince has extensive experience working with children and has provided geriatric eye care in several retirement/nursing home facilities. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Prince teaches clinical skills to medical students and residents at Johns Hopkins.
