Kathryn Klein, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Krieger Children’s Eye Center at the Wilmer Institute. She has subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.

Dr. Klein received her Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College. She completed medical school at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and received a Masters degree in Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She completed her residency training at New York University, where she served as Chief Resident. She trained in pediatric ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Klein has published in the areas of ophthalmology, child health, and health policy. Her current research interests include health policy aspects of pediatric ophthalmology.

Dr Klein sees pediatric ophthalmology patients and adult strabismus patients at the the Wilmer Eye Institute's Johns Hopkins Hospital and Green Spring Station locations.
