Dean S. Glaros, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. An experienced comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Glaros' clinical expertise includes general adult and pediatric medical eye care, cataract surgery, and contact lenses. He performs complete eye exams for healthy patients who need routine eye care as well as exams and treatment for patients with significant medical and/or ocular disease. Dr. Glaros is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Glaros received his medical training at the University of Maryland and performed his medical internship at the University of North Carolina Affiliate Program. He returned to the University of Maryland where he participated in research and completed his residency in ophthalmology. Before joining Wilmer he was in private practice in the Baltimore area. A lifelong resident of Maryland, Dr. Glaros is active in the Howard County community.
