Diana V. Do, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She specializes in both medical and surgical management of retinal diseases. She has expertise in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and surgical diseases of the macula such as epiretinal membrane and macular holes.
Dr. Do graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley and obtained her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. After her internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Dr. Do completed both her ophthalmology residency and 2-year retina fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute. Throughout her training, Dr. Do’s clinical and research efforts have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Clinician Scientist Award, and the Ronald Michels Fellowship Foundation Award.
