Dr. Daoud specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. Dr. Daoud received his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was the recipient of the “Best Bedside Skills” Teamwork Award. His ophthalmic residency was conducted at Duke University Eye Center and he completed his cornea fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute. In addition to his commitment to excellent patient care, Dr. Daoud is a published author in multiple ophthalmic journals and is involved in research to improve ocular health.
