Wilmer Residency Benefits

Benefits Overview

Annual Stipend, FY 2014 - 2015:

First year (PGY-2):$50,509
Second year (PGY-3):$52,941
Third year (PGY-4):$55,158

The Fiscal Year 2015 fringe benefit rate for house staff has not yet been determined. The rate will include 8.0% for social security, as well as an additional percentage for workmen's compensation, benefits administration, and other fringe benefits as listed below:

Please note that only those house officers who receive taxable income (salary/wages) are eligible for the Dependent Care Reimbursement Account and the 403(b) Retirement Plan, including institutional contribution. Those receiving compensation in the form of fellowships (stipends- G/L 654001) are not eligible.

Vacation:

3 weeks per academic year and 1 week over Christmas or New Year (4 weeks total). Plus 2 educational meeting days.
