SOURCES OF SUPPORT

The major source of income for the Dana Center comes from research activities funded by the National Institute of Health, National Eye Institute, and the National Institute on Aging.  Endowment funds also support research activities at the Dana Center.

Donations from private individuals remain a key source of support for the Dana Center’s activities.  These funds are critical to initiating new research projects and the support of the Public Health Ophthalmology Fellowship Program held every three years.

Private organizations also provide important support for research and teaching. These organizations include the following:
