Appointments at Wilmer

Making an Appointment

We’re connecting to improve your care.  Johns Hopkins Medicine is implementing a new electronic medical record system that will help you be an active partner in your health care and improve the high-quality care you already receive. We appreciate your patience as we put this new system in place. For more information, visit www.hopkinsmedicine.org/myrecord.

Thank you for your interest in making an appointment at the Wilmer Eye Institute. A Wilmer Eye Institute Referral Coordinator is available to speak to you from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), Monday through Friday, at 410-955-5080.

You may also call toll-free at 1-800-21JOHNS (1-800-215-6467), and ask to be switched to the Wilmer Referral Office.

We are pleased to be able to offer quick access to our referral and scheduling specialists. The best time to call is between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, although our agents are available beginning at 8:30 am for more urgent concerns. Call volume is very high on Mondays & between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm Tuesday - Friday, which may result in a longer wait time for a coordinator.

*Note: International patients MUST schedule appointments through Johns Hopkins Medicine International at:
