Japan Prize

In 2008, the health category is, "Medical Genomics and Genetics" and the prize will be awarded to a scientist who made outstanding achievements in the field of medical genomics and genetics, including establishment of fundamental principle for genetic/genomic analysis, construction of basic infrastructure like genetic maps and genomic sequences, and development of essential technologies.
