New! JHU Inventions Listserve

LTD is launching a new listserve designed to provide voluntary subscribers automatically with non-confidential information on JHU inventions as they become available for licensing.

In an effort to explore ways to market JHU inventions more effectively, JHU is "taking a page" from the NIH as they have an inventions listserve with approximately 1500 subscribers. "Think of this as JHU's own intellectual property exchange," says Catherine Vorwald of LTD. "As we post to the commercial exchanges, with which we have variable success in stimulating interest in JHU inventions, we will at the same time market to those who have expressed interest in getting the JHU invention news." This is not SPAM, this is timely and more targeted marketing.

Subscribe to LTD's inventions listserve to receive automatic notification of new invention send an e-mail to: listproc@listproc.jhu.edu and type "subscribe johnshopkins-IP {your name}" in the body of the message block. We will beginning to now market the listserve to build the subscriber list, so please encourage those interested in your inventions to subscribe.
