LTD seeks Material Transfer Agreements Manager

Licensing and Technology Development is seeking a Material Transfer Manager for its material transfer and other small agreements. The qualified candidate is responsible for the drafting, review, negotiation and management of material transfer (incoming and outgoing), non-disclosure, tangible property and intellectual property agreements insuring that all language is consistent with School(s) and University policies. The job responsibilities also include directing the internal education programs for the faculty to encourage the transfer of tangible materials and the utilization of JHU's eMTA on-line system. This position has two direct administrative reports and is supervised by the Associate Director for Technology Licensing.

Candidates for this senior staff-level position must have: Bachelors' degree preferably in a biological science is desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to interact professionally with faculty, high level corporate executives, attorneys and other administrators. Paralegal Certificate or some experience in the fields of technology transfer, business, or law, preferred. Effective May 1, 2003, the successful candidate(s) for this position will be subject to a pre-employment background check.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and is competitive with other academic institutions. The Johns Hopkins University offers an excellent benefits package.
