Robin Newhouse, PhD, RN has been appointed
Co-Chair of IRB-X, the Institutional Review Board that reviews
expedited and exempt applications. Dr. Newhouse has been a member
of the IRB and is an accomplished researcher in the area of quality
improvement and patient outcomes. She is a Nurse Researcher in
the Department of Nursing Administration at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital and Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. Dr.
Newhouse also chairs multiple nursing leadership committees at
the Hospital. Everyone in the Office of Human Subjects Research
looks forward to working with Dr. Newhouse in this leadership
role.
