Just in Time Requests The Office of Research Administration (ORA) has prepared a "How Do I" document addressing the preparation and submission of responses to NIH "Just in Time" (JIT) requests. The document includes a definition of "JIT"; guidelines regarding when to respond; an outline of PI, departmental, and ORA roles and responsibilities in the JIT process; and a list of Frequently Asked Questions. Please see the following website to access this document: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Research/NIH_JIT_requests.html
The SOM Office of Research Administration is offering
Hands-on eIS training sessions in October. All staff who process information
sheets on a regular basis are encouraged to attend. Please visit http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Research/training/
Faculty eIS training sessions and staff eIS refresher/Q&A
sessions will be arranged for individuals or departments by request. Please
send inquiries to SOMeISHelp@jhmi.
The individual fellowship (F30) is awarded to promising
applicants with the potential to become productive, independent, highly
trained physician-scientists, including patient-oriented physician-scientists
in their scientific mission areas. This funding opportunity supports individual
predoctoral F30 fellowships with the expectation that these training opportunities
will increase the number of future investigators in basic, translational
and clinical research who are physician scientists. Updates to this program
may be found here: http://grants2.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-05-151.html
