Back Although no formal announcement has yet
been made in the NIH Guide, a change has been made to the Federal
Executive Level I salary, which will result in an increase to
the NIH salary cap for investigators on grants. Effective January
1, 2003, the Executive Level I salary cap has been increased to
$171,900. Watch for an NIH Guide announcement in the near future.
