The Department of Defense (DOD) Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program (TSCRP) promotes innovative research focused on decreasing the clinical impact of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). DoD Fiscal Year 2010 Autism Research Program (ARP)

The vision of the FY10 ARP is to improve the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) now. The ARP challenges the scientific community to design high-impact, innovative research that advances the understanding of ASD and leads to improved outcomes for individuals with autism. The ARP focuses its funding on projects that have the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with ASD.

The Fiscal Year (FY) Department of Defense 2010 Appropriation included $8 million for the Autism Research Program. The ARP has released the following three of four program announcements planned for Fiscal Year 2010:

  1. Clinical Trial Award
  2. Idea Development Award
  3. Resource Development Award

The Department of Defense (DOD) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) promotes innovative research focused on eradicating breast cancer. Detailed descriptions of each of the funding mechanisms, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements can be found in the FY10 BCRP Program Announcements.
