Awards in Gene Therapy for Lymphoma and Leukemia

Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, Inc. (ACGT) funds research aimed at furthering the development of gene therapy approaches to the treatment of cancer. To this end, ACGT announces its Gene Therapy For Lymphoma And Leukemia Award to qualified scientists at the assistant professor level and above who are working in the field of gene therapy for lymphoma and leukemia. The overall objectives of this grant are to advance gene therapy into the causes, treatment and prevention of lymphoma and leukemia by promoting basic and pre-clinical research approaches utilizing cells and genes as medicine, as well as clinical translational studies.

Each grant will be awarded up to $1,000,000 over a period of three to five years (inclusive of 10% indirect cost). The deadline is February 16, 2004. All applications are accepted through proposalCENTRAL, http://pc.ecgrant.com/.
