CDC Potential Extramural Projects

The new CDC Potential Extramural Projects (PEPs) provide an opportunity for funding for a variety of research projects. Full information is available at http://www.cdc-cafunding.org/peps/start.htm. CAM Pilot Funds Now Available

The Cancer Center Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Supplement is a three year award from NCI/NCCAM (National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine) to fund pilot projects at JHMI that specifically apply modalities considered alternative medicine to cancer research. The Johns Hopkins CAM Center under the supervision of Dr. Adrian Dobs administers this project and is available to offer core support for project development. Up to $150,000 (direct and indirect costs) per project for one year are available. The full request for applications, including eligibility requirements can be found at: www.hopkins-cam.org/announce/
