The highly competitive program provides funding for basic biomedical,
disease-oriented, or translational research to physician-scientists.

Foundation Alzheimer's Disease Research Grants
support two awards: Standard and Postdoctoral Fellowship to fund
researchers early and more advanced stages of research in Alzheimer's
Disease. Applications due October 13.
Foundation National Glaucoma Research Grants
award funds researchers who have some amount of preliminary data
in glaucoma research. Tenured track and non tenured track open
to apply. Applications due November 16.
Milstein Medical Asian American
Partnership Foundation Fellowship and Project Awards
Application deadline: December 1, 2016
The MMAAP Foundation invites the submission of applications in
the areas of Geriatrics, Dermatology, Hematology, Reproductive
Medicine, and Translational Medicine. One Fellowship and one Project
award will be provided in each of the above five areas except
for geriatrics. The Irma and Paul Milstein Program for Senior
Health typically awards 3 fellowships each year since 2014. The
Fellowship award provides support for promising investigators
for one year training in clinical or basic research in the United
States at a distinguished partner institution. Individuals selected
must have documented research experience. The Project award provides
support for a translation research project to be conducted in
China that has the potential to affect care in China within 2
years. In order to qualify for funding, Chinese applicants must
have demonstrated ability in clinical research. Both awards require
the applicants to have command of English in order to successfully
collaborate with partnering institutions. Details about each award
