NIH Transformative Research Projects Program

The NIH created the Transformative Research Projects Program to support innovative, high risk, original, and/or unconventional research with the potential to create new or challenge existing scientific paradigms. The NIH common fund intends to commit $25 million dollars in FY 2010; the number of awards depends on the size and scope of the most meritorious applications. It is our hope that Hopkins will submit multiple applications in response to this important funding opportunity announcement.
