), Johns Hopkins University has convened the Hopkins Stem Cell Committee (HSCC) to consider the NAS recommendations and set hES cell research policies for JHU. The committee has recommended the formation of embryonic stem cell research oversight (ESCRO) boards to review studies pertaining to hES cell and somatic cell nuclear transfer research. Details on the recommendations by HSCC will be forthcoming with the formation of the first ESCRO situated in the SOM.
