Technology Opportunities Program (TOP)

All Hopkins faculty are invited to join the Technology Opportunities Program (TOP). TOP assists School of Medicine faculty by providing leads and connections to people in industry and by facilitating the industrial acquisition of Johns Hopkins intellectual property.

The JHM Alliance for Science and Technology Development (The Alliance) is a group of industry leaders who will work directly with the faculty to facilitate the transfer of research results to the marketplace so that the public can benefit from these discoveries. The Alliance has broad experience and contacts in numerous biomedical industries and is generously donating its members' efforts to this endeavor.

TOP is open to all faculty who have an interest in seeing their research results developed into useful products. TOP faculty will meet with The Alliance in April and October, 2005 to present their inventions to this group. They will also have an ongoing opportunity to communicate with Alliance members throughout the year via the Alliance website.

For more information on the TOP, contact Helen Montag, Special Assistant for Corporate Affairs (hmontag@jhmi.edu ).
