Seminar Series

The next Rodent Surgery class will be held on August 12, 2004 at 9:00 AM in Ross 403. Class size is limited to 10 people and pre-registration is required to attend the session. To register call 443-287-3738 or 443-287-3744 or send an email to pmatos1@jhmi.edu.

The August 2004 animal care and use seminar will be "Shipping Rodents To and From JHU: Demystifying the Process". The seminar will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2004 in Ross 403 at 12:00PM.

The ACUC is now offering American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) Certification training to all Technical Staff who work with laboratory animals. To register call 443-287-3743 or send an email to kdiven1@jhmi.edu.

The Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) will host an "Orientation to the Animal Care Program at Johns Hopkins University" on Tuesday August 24, 2004 at 10:00 AM in Tilghman Room, East Baltimore. This event is free but pre-registration is required. Please email pmatos1@jhmi.edu or call 443-287-3738 to register.

The ACUC, the Office of the Provost and the Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing, Bloomberg School of Public Health will host a Town Meeting for Animal Research at Johns Hopkins University on November 4, 2004 in Tilghman Room. Stay tuned for further details.

This month's animal care and use seminar will focus on “Impact of Laboratory Animal Diets on Your Research.” The seminar will be held on Thursday July 22, 2004 in Ross 403 at 12:00PM.
