Animal Care and Use Semiannual Inspection
The Spring Semiannual Facilities Inspection
by the Animal Care and Use Committee is scheduled for May 1-14,
2003. All animal use areas will be inspected. Please have a knowledgeable
individual available to answer questions. In some cases, the committee
may wish to review records. Please contact the Animal Care and

Animal Care and Use Seminars
The Animal Care and Use Committee will
conduct an all-day "Rodent Handling” class on Thursday,
May 22, 2003 starting at 9:00 a.m. in Ross 403. An all-day “Rodent
Surgery" class will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2003 starting
at 9:00 a.m. in Ross 403. Please register by sending an email

entitled, “Animal Biosafety Overview” will be held on
Thursday May 29, 2003 at 12:00 p.m. in Ross 403. For a list of
