Traveling for Care?
Whether you're crossing the country or the globe, we make it easy to access world-class care at Johns Hopkins.
The Vascular & Interventional Radiology program offers eight (8) one-year, ACGME-accredited training positions. There are 5 Interventional suites. The duty assignments of each fellow are shown below:
|Consult fellow||Consults on all inpatient issues.||Weekly|
|Fellow 2||Suite 1||Procedures||Weekly|
|Fellow 3||Suite 2||Procedures||Weekly|
|Fellow 4||Suite 3||Procedures||Weekly|
|Fellow 5||Suite 4||Procedures||Weekly|
|Fellow 6||Clinic||Out patient clinics||Weekly|
|Fellow 7||Vascular||Focused Vascular and Endovascular rotation||2 Weeks per rotation|
The fifth suite is staffed by a Physician’s Assistant (PA) who performs line placements and tube changes. This assures-high end procedures for the other fellows and frees one fellow to function as float.
All call is home call and on a rotational basis.
Average weekly duty hours 55 (40’s-70’s). We STRCITLY abide by the duty hour limitations as set by the ACGME. A duty hour electronic log is maintained by the office of the fellowship Director.
We are currently processing ALL fellowship applications through the ERAS central application.
