Dear Alumni,

I hope this message finds you well in health and successful in your profession. All of us here at Johns Hopkins would like to extend our best wishes and ask you to renew your ties with your alma mater. As the VIR community grows I think it’s crucial to nurture professional ties that will be beneficial to you, to us, to our future alumni and our specialty.

The VIR fellowship program here at Hopkins continuous to thrive and expand. We currently have accreditation for seven (7) fellows. Our five suites are working full time, our teaching program has gained the reputation of the best in the nation and our research program is the most active in the VIR community. We have many ongoing funded projects in molecular, basic, animal and clinical research. The future is bright as we plan expansion to seven VIR suites and dedicated MR- and CT-interventional rooms in our new hospital which opened in 2012.

We at Hopkins recognize that this success could not be possible without the hard work of current fellows and the reputation spread nationally and internationally by previous fellows like yourself.

I hope you will take a few moments to update your information on our website so that we can keep in touch with you. You know you can count on us for any help we can provide and I hope you would extend this courtesy to any of our fellows who might be coming your way.

Best Regards,

Hong, Kelvin, M.D.
