Plan Options (TRICARE)

This benefit provides the most comprehensive coverage for health care benefits at the lowest cost. Each member has a primary care physician who manages all the individual's health care.

The Johns Hopkins US Family Health Plan provides TRICARE Prime coverage through the most respected name in medicine—Johns Hopkins.

With this option, you may choose any physician who accepts TRICARE payment. This option allows flexibility but may be the most expensive due to its deductibles and cost shares.

This benefit is like a civilian preferred provider network, or PPN. If you choose from our network of preferred physicians and specialists, the government pays a slightly larger share of medical costs.
