Johns Hopkins University lacrosse coach Dave Pietremala will be on hand to meet and greet employees who have made their donation to the United Way, or who plan to do so at the lunch.

The Johns Hopkins Medicine United Way campaign is hosting an online auction starting Monday, Nov. 22.
Log in to unitedwayauction.hopkinsmedicine.org and bid on sports memorabilia, such as footballs and framed photographs signed by Ravens players, a baseball signed by Cal Ripken and a jersey signed by Ray Lewis. New items will be up for bid on Mondays through the end of the year.

Never in my life did I ever think that we would need charity. I so believe in the United Way. I’ve always believed in it. It’s a great way to be assured that what you’re giving reaches the people who need it.
