What is your job?

I am assistant to the Waitlist Nurse Coordinator. Together we maintain the clinical updates of our 300 + kidney/pancreas patients who are waiting on the UNOS list for transplant.

Why do you work with transplant patients?

I like working with transplant patients, because these patient have a real need and goal and that is: “a better quality of life”. I find great pleasure knowing that I play a part in that goal. Nothing makes me happier than to walk into work on any given day to find out that one of the patients I work with received a transplant. “It all about the patient”

What is your education?

I'm currently pursuing a degree in Health Information Technology.
