What is your job?
I manage and coordinate the care of liver transplant patients from transplant to discharge. Working very closely with liver transplant surgeons, I review labs and radiology tests, order medications, and prepare patients for discharge. I also coordinate the multidisciplinary process that goes into every liver transplant patient’s hospitalization.

Why do you work with transplant patients?
I enjoy working in transplant because the field continues to evolve, the patients continue to inspire, and the colleagues continue to amaze.
What is your education?
I completed the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program and received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2008. Prior to that, I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2004 and had previously received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Connecticut College (Go Camels!) in 1990.
