What is your job?
I am one of three On-Call Coordinators that is available 24x7. We receive information from Living Legacy and/or one of the John’s Hopkins Transplant surgeons regarding available cadaveric organs for patients on the Johns Hopkins Waiting List. We then contact these potential recipients for the organ, admit them to the hospital and work to ensure the patient has a seamless experience at JHH, from admission to transplant. We are also available for post transplant follow up concerns our patients may have.

When did you start working in transplantation?
Primarily, since 2006. Prior to that, I worked for 16 years as a an Operating Room Nurse and participated in many transplant surgeries.
Why do you work with transplant patients?
It is rewarding to see lives changed with each transplant.
What is your education?
I have an Associate’s in Nursing, and a Bachelor’s in Management.
