Stepping Stones is a transplant patient assistance fund that was created by the Social Workers of the CTC in 2009. The fund is designed to help patients who are struggling to manage minor expenses after transplant, such as gas to get to appointments, parking expenses and groceries. Stepping Stones relies on donations and money raised from various fundraising events. Our most recent fundraising adventure has been a CTC cookbook, comprised of recipes from transplant staff and patients. Cookbooks are $10 and will be available for sale at the conference (cash/check only).
Please join us for our fundraising event with the Baltimore Orioles! We have tickets available for the Baltimore Orioles vs. the Washington Nationals game on Saturday, June 23 at 7:15 at Camden Yards! Ticket costs are $15 and a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Stepping Stones Transplant Patient Fund!
Tickets will be available for sale at the CTC Patient Conference or you may contact Angie Duckworth at 410-614-4442, firstname.lastname@example.org to purchase tickets. Cash or checks are accepted. Checks can be made out to Stepping Stones.
