Pamela Walker, R.N.,B.S.N.

Kidney Donor Transplant Coordinator

Pamela received her Bachelors of Arts in Management from Hartwick College in 1989.  Subsequently she graduated from Dominican College with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.  Pam has worked as an RN for the last 13 years in both New Jersey and Maryland.  She joined the Comprehensive Transplant Center in July 2005.   Prior to working in the transplant field, Pam worked in the fields of gastroenterology as well as a medial-surgical and maternal-child environment.  She has had the opportunity to provide direct patient care to a variety of patients.

Pam has enjoyed the transition to specializing in transplant care.  “I am thrilled to be working with the donors and supporting them in giving the ultimate gift of helping another.  They are true life heroes.”  Pam believes the mentor program offers patients a unique level of support.  “No amount of expertise can replace the knowledge gained from actual experience”.
