Swann has been with Johns Hopkins Hospital since January 2000. Swann formerly worked on the Surgical Intensive Care units (SICU/WICU) as a clerical assistant for three years. While working on the ICU units Swann obtained meaningful experience with doctors and nurses. Swann can be recognized for her help with Dr. Peter Pronovost's Safety Protocol in December 2001's published article with Time Magazine. Swann later came to the Comprehensive Transplant Center in June 2003 with continued determination to help patients as well as her interest for Information Technology. While working for the CTC Swann has been persuing her educational career at Johns Hopkins University. Swann is an upcoming graduate in the Bachalor of Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. Swann will continue her career majoring in Law/Metobolic disorders in African American Women at the Johns Hopkins School of public heath's JD/MPH program. Swann also provides volunteer support for the Hopkins BOND to BOND mentoring program which partnerships with inner city public school youth where she was recently was given Mentor of the year 2005-06. Swann has several other awards including Who's Who in American colleges 2005, The National Dean's List 2005, PHI Theta Kappa National Honors Scoiety 2005 and her recent full scholarship award to the Johns Hopkins University. Swann says, "Everyday I look forward to providing assistance in the Comprehensive Transplant Center. I possess leadership and commitment to my work." Education/Training:
