  • Heart failure
  • Cardiac transplant
  • Peripartum cardiomyopathy
  • Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Research interests:

  • Neurohormonal mechanisms of cardiac hypertrophy
  • The effects of leptin and obesity on the cardiovascular system
  • The interaction between leptin and the beta-3 adrenergic receptor in cardiac myocyte signaling
