Research in the Division of Pediatric Surgery

The Division of Pediatric Surgery provides a rich academic environment. The major areas of research are trauma, transplantation, immunology, and oncology. Research in the division is supported by the Garrett Research Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.

Research Training and Opportunities

The Division of Pediatric Surgery has a long-standing tradition of training young clinicians and basic scientists. The Robert Garrett Research Fellowship supports bright, promising clinical scientists for two years in our division. In addition, Ph.D. postdoctoral fellows and international students participate in ongoing research projects.
