Dr. Phillips joined Johns Hopkins’ Department of Surgery from the University of New Mexico, where he served as director of the burn program. A member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Burn Association, Dr. Phillips is the editor of several medical journals, including the Journal of Burns & Wounds. He is also the editor of a new textbook titled Pediatric Burns.
