Dr. Lidor is an assistant professor of surgery at Johns Hopkins. She earned a degree in biological sciences at the State University of New York at Binghamton and a medical degree at the New York Medical College. She received general surgical training and completed a surgical research fellowship at the George Washington University Medical Center. Lidor also completed a clinical fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and holds a masters in public health from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Board-certified in surgery, Lidor specializes in laparoscopic gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery as well as the development of minimally-invasive surgical techniques.  She practices at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

  • Minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgery
  • Laparoscopic roux-en-y gastric bypass
  • Laparoscopic gastric banding
  • Surgical treatment of GERD (laparoscopic nissin fundoplication), achalasia, and hiatal and paraesophogeal hernia
