Jeffrey C. Hoehner, MD, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Surgery
Dr. Jeffrey C. Hoehner joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Hoehner attended Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his general surgery residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Hoehner received his Ph.D. from Uppsala University in Uppsala Sweden. His pediatric surgery fellowship was done at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Hoehner's clinical and research interests are in surgical oncology.
Research Interests:
- Effects of hypoxia and metabolite deprivation in solid tumors
- Treatment of pediatric solid tumors
Clinical Interests:
- Medical therapy for pyloric stenosis
- Tracheal stenting for airway obstruction in children
- Treatment of pediatric tumors and malignancies
