  • Use of continuous glucose monitoring to facilitate glycemic control in critically ill patients

  • Nutritional management of burn patients

Education:

After completing a surgical residency and fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffail, Gibson completed a post-doctoral fellowship in surgical critical care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

B. Robert Gibson, M.D., instructor of surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, earned a medical degree at the Oregon University School of Health and Sciences.  After completing a surgical residency and fellowship at the State University of New York at 
Buffail, Gibson completed a post-doctoral fellowship in surgical critical care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
