 Dr. Freeswick is an assistant professor of surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an attending surgeon at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He is also the Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Freeswick received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) and completed both his general surgical training and critical care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. His primary interest involves trauma surgery and critical care. In addition, Dr. Freeswick performs both general and vascular surgery. Dr. Freeswick is the principal investigator in several ongoing clinical studies at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and is board-certified / eligible in both general surgery and critical care medicine.
